Currency is basically a mode of exchanging goods and services. But every country’s currency holds a different value as the economic status differs. So today we will know the 10 most valuable currencies.
Note:- We will use the comparison with respect to our Indian rupee.
1. KUWAITI DINAR -
Kuwaiti Dinar holds the number one position. This is because of the country’s rich wealth in terms of oil reserves which works as food for developed nations.
The value of 1 Kuwaiti dinar = 242.84 Indian rupees.
2. BAHRAINI DINAR -
Bahrain is a gulf country. Same as Kuwait, Bahrain is also a wealthy country due to the manufacturing of various petroleum products.
The value of 1 Bahraini dinar = 193.68 Indian rupees.
3. OMANI RIAL -
Omani rial is currency of the country oman. This country is also a major petroleum exporter. ( 0.25 and 0.5 rials are also running even now )
The value of 1 Omani rial = 189.60 Indian rupees.
4. JORDANIAN DINAR -
Well, Jordan is not a wealthy country like Kuwait or Bahrain but still, it has the highest value even when compared to a USD. This is because of pegged currency, in which the monetary authority fixed the value of a country’s currency in comparison to another one.
The value of 1 Jordanian dinar = 103.03 Indian rupees.
5. POUND STERLING -
This is the official currency of the United Kingdom formerly known as “Great Britain”. Now Great Britain has many contributions to the rest of the world. That’s why its currency still holds great value.
The value of 1 Pound Sterling = 101.21 Indian rupees.
6. CAYMAN ISLAND DOLLAR -
Cayman Island comes within the continent of North America. It still comes under the British overseas territory. Known for its various resorts and major tourist spots.
The value of 1 Cayman Island dollar or KYD = 87.65 Indian rupees.
7. EURO -
Euro is the official currency of 19 countries on the European continent. No doubt it is also the biggest currency reserve in the world.
The value of 1 Euro = 86.74 Indian rupees.
8. SWISS FRANC -
It is the official currency of Switzerland. Many of us have accounts in Swiss banks due to the reason that swiss is the most stable one.
The value of 1 Swiss Franc = 79.90 Indian rupees.
9. UNITED STATES DOLLAR -
We all know about the US dollar. It is one of the most trading currencies in all around the World. Probably because of too many shareholders this currency is consistently maintaining its position. All of the major transactions done globally are done in USD.
The value of 1 USD = 72.99 Indian rupees.
10. CANADIAN DOLLAR -
The tenth position holds by the Canadian dollar. It is also the wealthiest country of its major oil reserves. Apart from that the fuel for nuclear power plant, that is Uranium produced here in huge amount. In fact, it is the second-largest producer after Kazakhstan.
The value of 1 Canadian dollar or CAD = 58.27 Indian rupees.
