We all have studied Science in our schools, some are still studying in their higher studies also. So what is science ? According to Albert Einstein from smallest molecule to the largest galaxy, “Everything is science”. From Evaporation to running a train it's all based on science. The contribution made in the field of science is so many but the major is the one which forms the foundation back in those days. In this article we will study some of the smartest minds which have created history.
1. ARCHIMEDES
Archimedes was born in Syracuse, a city in greek (287-212 BC). He was considered as the greatest mind in that time. He was an Engineer, Astronomer and a well known physicist. He was the first person to derive the value of pi. ( upto 6 significant places).
The most numerous thing developed by him is Archimedes' principle. With the use of this principle we can find the volume of any irregular shape. According to a legend he discovered the principle during his bath.
2. NICOLA TESLA
Well Nicola Tesla had an extraordinary mind in the field of electricity. He had given endless contributions in this field . This person was always ahead of his time. The modern day Alternating current is the result of his innovation. He laid the foundation for wireless communication. Once Nikola Tesla and Thomas Alva Edison had an argument over the future of electricity. Edison thought that Direct current would become the future but Nikola Tesla proved him wrong.
3. GALILEO
Galileo was born in italy. He was called the father of Astronomy. He invented the telescope through which we are able to explore outer space. Galileo proved to the church that it is earth which moves around the sun. Due to his theory, the church has given punishment to galileo. His contribution in physics is Law Of Inertia, later formulated by Sir Isaac Newton.
4. ALBERT EINSTEIN
Everyone is well acquainted with Albert Einstein. He was called Crazy Scientist due to his outstanding ideas. He transformed the view of modern physics with his famous theory of relativity ( a concept very tough to grasp and understand) . He was the first person to define that time is also another physical dimension just like space. Photoelectric effect was also given by Albert Einstein defining the dual nature of light waves.
5. SIR ISAAC NEWTON
Sir Isaac Newton has touched almost every field whether it is astronomy, mathematics, physics or engineering. He developed the laws of motion at the age of 19. He discovered the law of gravitation by sitting under a tree. The falling sparks him to thinking that led to numerous discoveries .
